Since launching our crowdfunding campaign last week, we have raised nearly 90% of our overall goal. The generous support and commitment we all have for our alma mater, and for this innovative program, is truly humbling—but there’s more work to be done. We still need to raise $10,000 over the next 9 days to meet our goal.
I hope that you've taken the opportunity to look at the "donor wall" on the crowd funding website to notice the ecosystem this program has created. Not only have entrepreneurial-minded alums and parents donated, but so have past winners of the Fellowship. What this says about this program, and the impact it's had on these students, is truly incredible. Their desire to give back (both monetarily and in some cases, as mentors for future fellows) is inspiring.
While reflecting on the success this program has had since its inception always makes me proud of what we’ve created, nothing humbles me more than to see how many others are committed to this vision, too.
This is a big task, but one that I am confident we can accomplish together.
If you haven’t donated yet, make sure you do! All of the money goes directly to the students, and with the support of their parent and alumni mentors, helps them hone their business skills and launch their first venture.
If you have donated, share this with your friends, family, and colleagues. Let them know why this program is important to you and why it should be important to them, too.
Help us ensure that Gettysburg entrepreneurs will continue to have an impact, both in their communities and within their professions. Every dollar counts, and a donation to this program counts as a donation to the College and the Gettysburg Great Campaign—which is tax deductible.
